Attention: computer monitor has your stare
03.31.04 (6:25 pm)   [edit]
Awareness of the computer and awareness of your surronding is like a balancing act, kinda like driving. The difference of course in, driving, you just need not be aware of what's going on inside your car but take your eyes off the road and things going on around you and "bam," you slam into something or another.

Balance must be sought while using your computer and staring at the monitor, otherwise, you won't socialize. The computer will consume your entire concentration to the point where it will take your entire concentration to just use the computer.

computers. Okay, how about multi boxes?
03.24.04 (5:01 pm)   [edit]
Computers are electronic gizmos whacha majigs. But they are really legos.

You simply stack stuff. Hardrive, RAM, CPU, Floppy, Burner, GC (grapics card).

Why not not limit the things you can stack; wireless, opensource, no limits.

Programming dude. You can\'t do it even though you can.

Coding is what's neccessary to keep the web going. You have to decide what language you are going to use today. Is it Java. Is it PHP. Or do you want to go stand-alone with C++ or how about all expense paid trip to empty pocket .NET.

I write code to get what I want done. I use open source because it's quicker and you can't point a finger at me and say "pay me" for your own work. Trippy hugh. Maybe, maybe not.

I wrote an application in struts in php. One with postgree and one with mysql. Totally free. No one snooping my computer for software. I write software for things you have to pay for and I have to pay someone so I can write.

I don't understand the battle really. It's kinda funny.

Rampaging idiots without a way to be smart
03.11.04 (4:11 pm)   [edit]
Okay, today is great, however (coordinating conjunction :). idiots are real. They are among us people and you can tell who they are because they are blatanty stupid. That's right, stupid. First, I thought, no, that couldn't be, idiots aren't really. That's just something people make up to poke fun at others or just blatantly mean but, oh my gosh! A blithering idiot just jumped in front of me one day like out of the blue. What should I do, what should I do, stay calm. So I threw a few math problems at him, no effect, just slightly stunned. Then another one, female. I through a few logic problems at her, stunned, same no effect. Now, I'm totally surronded by idiots. The idiots are in all shapes and sizes and you can tell if the person is an idiot until they start to talk and oh my gosh! It's totally blatantly. There's no denying it.

What do you do about idiots? Nothing. Are the idiots breeding thus producing more idiots? Yep!

Do I care? Yeah. The idiots can't really survive on the evolutionary scale if evolution is true without the help of smart people and living on the life blood of geniuses. Most of them look like sheep. Like bah, bah.

Why do I rant, well, idiots are just stupid. I can't tell if it's a mental defect. I mean like really a chemical embalance since humans brains are bio-electrical or the DNA has evolved to the point where stupidity is a gene that the Human Genome Project hasn't isolated yet.

Existance with idiots let you know that, hey, maybe you're a fricken genious, that's the only plus.

same sex thoughts or borrow someone elses eggs
03.06.04 (11:25 am)   [edit]
The rights of people are connected with the rights endowed by our creator. The creator created man and woman. Same sex implies those same rights applies to the joining of man to man and a woman to woman. The logic would dictate, according to religion, this is not the case. A man and a woman enter a vow under God by uniting with the blessings of God and are expected to not have sex with one another until they are united under God which keeps in touch with what is believed the creator wants. The United States entire existence is based on religion. The government of the United States is intertwined with religion the same way a double helix is intertwined with one strand connected to another. Religion and government can be separated but not without separating the “spirit” of the Constitution. A question is often raised, “What is the definition of morally right?” Another question is, “When does progress become counter-productive to progress?” Does allowing same sex marriage recognized and “ok’d” by the government trump on the moral convictions of ordinary citizens who would like to keep marriage between a man and a woman sacred but are over-powered by a small minority of people who travel from state to state in the belief that their moral beliefs are more important then the moral belief of a majority. It’s not a case of tying to be mean to a group. It’s more along the line of, “What’s next in the realm of “shock politics” and do I give up all of my moral beliefs and conviction to one irate social group at a time?” When I see a group of people saying people are being mean by not allowing same sex marriage, I do not get the image of group of really nice people trying to do what’s right for society as a whole. I see a group of really bitter, really angry people literally trying to force people to conform to ideas the people forced to don’t believe in but are so overwhelmed by people yelling in their faces saying, “You do this or else!” in such a threatening manor that I feel taken aback. It’s not some suppressed group of people down trodden by society, it’s a group of “really” “mean-spirited” people who scream and yell at every event without hesitation. They scream to drown out all opposition. It makes me feel really nervous.

I even begin to wonder if marriage, after a while, will be considered garbage with no real reason for it. “Why marry? Anyone can do it. It’s not fulfilling a time honored tradition endowed by our creator.” Marriage more becomes a time honored tradition for humans by humans. The redefining, “forever,” the meaning of marriage, becomes a time honored tradition for humans by humans because humans make themselves and humans are superior to everything and what humans want supercede all moral codes that conflict with our other alien moral code as we “make it all up” as we go along from year to year and decade to decade.

I believe that there exist laws for human nature that should extend throughout the centuries. These laws that exist no matter what year it is, they are either right or wrong. When these basic laws, which have no ambiguity, become lost in politics, we slowly begin to lose ourselves. We ask ourselves questions, was Hitler wrong or right? At the time, millions followed him. We ask ourselves questions, “Was the killing of Jesus wrong or right. Millions stood by and let it happen. We ask ourselves questions, was slavery wrong or right, millions stood by and let it happen. We ask ourselves questions, was the Spanish Inquisition, wrong or right, was colonization wrong or right, was the attack on this, wrong or right, was the destruction of this wrong or right? All of these things seem to have the stigma of being attached as progress for the good of humanity. I ask the same question, is same sex marriage, wrong or right? Or, does it get lost in politics and judged in future as right or judged as the greatest tragedy without knowing its full implications in a location based morality society.

New Leaf ... Under a rock B)
03.04.04 (6:53 pm)   [edit]
Today, I think I'm going to turn over a new leaf. I'm going to really put an effort for th to accomplish the things I put off. I spend so much time researching and mucking about, like the Muck on Pokemon, that I hardly complete everything that I start. First I thought it was because I created too many things for me to do. Then okay, I releazied that I created a perfect amount of things to do. Then I thought it was organization, so I took steps to correct my organization which I might add has a little refining then I'll be okay. Finally, I figured it out. It is a combination of having a lot of things to complete and not actually writing everything down, just kind of remembering them in my head. Secondly, I didn't jot them down in order of importance. Another thing I had to do is put all the things in file folders. They look kind of retro but heck, I think it is a great idea! Well, I'm off to polish up my resume which I have been putting off for eons!
