Programming Underground or Get Grounded "@$#!"
05.28.04 (9:25 am)   [edit]
A lot of buzz words have been floating around as to what technology is and what it isn't. Hey, that's P2P so therefore P2P is related to this so let's stop the technology before it could benefit anyone. Or, he that's hacking so anything program writing related is branded as hacking or hey, that's porn so if someone has on anything less then full body dress with a scarf then that's pron, but hey, I digress ;).

The point, oh yes, the point. Here's a rule. When you're tading songs, create alias's. Just start making up things to call the songs. Makeup acronyms and phone numbers as the same thing. When you're naming files in your directories, call them Jaberwocky or something. Make the clueless even more clueless. "Hey, what are you doing? Is that P2P?" "No, I'm doing P2theQRSP." "Well, as long as it's not P2P"

Iraq: Kill Bill Volume 1
05.20.04 (11:43 am)   [edit]
I think the Iraqi insurgents need to stop getting plots from movies. :)

US Tech
05.12.04 (11:29 pm)   [edit]
I think a lot of programmers have stopped being nerdy and are going more for the hey, it's good enough, and we're so far ahead look. I say. Be confident but also be the one that is so far ahead of the curve that you "know" there's no competition.

;P

Iraq prison or Brothel?
05.11.04 (7:15 pm)   [edit]
Okay, so the Iraq prisoners during the war were mistreated by the guards at the prisons. I mean some were forced to do sexual acts. I think most were forced to do sexual acts which is the case the prisoners in Iraq are making.

The prisoners that are in the prisons have been captured for killing people so in theory, they should be on death row or executed. But then you have the random arms dealer because he's not so bad. So he's upset about being in a sex act.

Now you have a group of Iraq people take an innocent man and chop his head off. Then make a video and mail it.

Something is kind of wrong with this picture.

I like Iraq and I think it has a lot of good points. I like the US and I think it has a lot of good points. I like the US more but hey, we have a lot more freedom here.

How did the media get the photos? Why? Who took the photos and passed them around? Was it for kicks and giggles? I mean like hey, were the giggling when they gave the photos to CNN? Did they think everyone would get a big laugh?

You have to hand it to the so called "rebels without a cause" in Iraq though. We send sex photos, they send beheading photos.

Sex photos.
Beheading photos.

Hmm.

Okay, let's say that in theory, the beheading would say, "we mean business." The truth, everyone cares but the reality is we think, "that's why the rebels are bad."

Why do I call them rebels. Why, they're rebelling against stabalizing their own country. The Iraq people realize that once the US leaves, they can form a government the US sets in place but afterwards can pretty much form whatever government they want.

The people in Iraq don't want the US to leave. I have no idea why that's true.

The media really did a piss poor job at making sure this story didn't piss people off. The media made this sounds as horrible as possible. Didn't the media realize that people would do something stupid? I like journalizm and I like it to be fair and balanced.

It's just like, how could the US treatment of it's prisoners in any way compare to what the Iraq rebels and insurgents do to their prisoners. At least the prisoners the Americans have get to go home. The prisoners the Iraq rebels and insurgent take are murdered for nothing but to make a point. They will never kill the number of people the prior wars had because the type of war that was fought in Iraq was not that kind of war. The people in Iraq "really" wanted Saddam out. The soldiers in Iraq were happy to spend and lose their hard earned lives to help them with that. Pretty soon it will be time for the US to pull out. But you know why not, the people in Iraq, deep down, don't want the US to leave. You can tell in the headlines. If they read the papers, they would see that the US has plans to leave and turn over the government, but when it gets close to the time for the US to leave, "OH, another bombing." Now this prison story that was more "embarrassing then shocking. Oh, the guys were naked. How about the same guys that are naked, why don't they say why they there for. Let the people who report the stories know that the prisoners are under "military" juristiction and they are definitely considered "enemy" combatants. The guards were trying to use flowers and candies to pursuade the Iraq rebels and insurgents to tell them where the bombs and automatic weapons caches were held but had to stop because they were maxing out the Visas when they were going to buy them the 72 virgins they were promised. (I know, 72 virgins. Sounds trippy but that can't be real)

It seems the media is praying on events day and night to get a story. It's almost as if the newspaper think that their bloody polls they do from their "favorite" sampling of people they get "actually" dictate American opinion. Do you know how much of the news is believable? In my opinion after reviewing the crap for years roughly about 60%. The rest of it is garbage. A lot of it pure fabrication. There is not such thing as solid "truth." Nothing ever is solidly "true." Tell any story and no matter what story you tell will be mostly false and based on your own opinion. So I don't understand what's up with the papers. I don't understand what's up with the Iraq insurgents although it borders on something like they want us to leave but they don't so they're going to blow things up now and again just for the dumb of it.

The soldiers made a mistake. The mistake, forunately is easy to solve. People are like way to silly and personnally if they show one more naked guy on television, I'm going to simply stop watching regular television and order 24 hour porn.

Hey, they're showing it in the media. So what if they sugar coat it.

Well thanks for reading my unstructured statment but you caught me in a quiet reflecting moment. I'll find something more scientific to talk about ... like hey, dude, if you have broadband or a cable modem, you have got to get vonage as your phone. It is really cheap. I got it and hey, I get my voicemail on my account on the web and I also have it emailed to me. Is that high tech or what?
